The Best Self-Defense Moves That You Need To Know and Try

A violent crime occurs very often. It doesn’t matter who you are, what you do for a living or where you are, everyone can benefit from learning some basic self-defense techniques. Even if you are ever safe and don’t think that you can be a victim of a crime, it is always good to be prepared because the unpredictable can happen. Are you willing to learn how to protect yourself? keep reading simple self-defense moves that you should know and learn.

The first defense move that you should learn is self-defense technique and this is by knowing where to hit. You need to aim the groin, head and knees of your attacker as they are the most delicate parts.

Straight strike is the second move that you should learn. You likely want to punch your opponent as this is going to get into your mind as your first instinct just like most victims. You can be well prepared to punch your opponent but know that most of them are very prepared to block. The best thing to do is to try straight strike. This is done by opening your palm wide and hit your opponent to the face or the neck.

The third defense move that you can learn easily is the hammer strike. Hammer strike move is just as you are sounding it. You are just needed to raise your fist then smack it down as if you are hitting something. So as to land a hard blow to your opponent, make sure you strike with the bottom of your fist.

If someone attacks you from behind, the best thing to do is to squat low to make yourself harder to hold by your attacker. Your attacker will want to apply bear hug to attack you because it is easy to beat a nervous opponent. When you go low, it is easier to hit the groin at this position. If your attacker holds you in a bear hug also, the other thing you can do is to lean forward while squatting so that you can free your elbow. In this position, you will need to move your elbow forward and swing it back so that you can strike the stomach of your rival as hard as you can. The next thing should do is to flee away after you have studded your attacker.

You have to block your attacker if he wants to beat you by swinging. Even though blocking can hurt your arms, it can be better to have a hit there than having it on your face or any other delicate spot.
