You should use detergents that match with your skin in the cleaning process. For example, people with dry skin should try using moisturized soaps whereas those with oily skins should use soap that is free from additives. For extra oily skins, they should try hemp skin care. You shouldn’t overdo the face scrubbing whether your skin is oily or dry because it has adverse effects on the skin.
You should also employ facial exfoliation which is a different procedure from facial scrubbing. Exfoliation entails removal of dead skin skills to facilitate the growth of new skin cells. Once the new cells are produced, your skin will regenerate and rejuvenate to have a desirable and young healthy look. Your skin normally sheds off these dead cells after every two weeks, but you can decide to do it more often. You can visit a beauty spa to have your face scrubbed, or do it at home using micro scrubbers. You should exfoliate only once in a week if your skin is dry, and at most thrice if your skin is oily. However, if you do exfoliation too much, your skin may redden and irritate as well.
Cigarette smoking and other bad habits should also be totally avoided. Too much smoking will indirectly lead to wrinkles on the face and a rough skin. The collagen in the face are the reason why the face is strong and elastic, but can be easily destroyed by the nicotine present in cigars. You also need to avoid very hot sun and protect your body from any harmful rays. A lot of people like hanging out on the hot summer sun, but the reality is that the sun rays cause more harm to their skin than good. These UV rays are responsible for sunburns on the skin, which are as a result of destruction of skin cells. The UV rays are also said to cause cancer of the skin, something you don’t want to suffer from.
